Your Journey Is Your Own

I feel like my life has taken a turn. I’m heading down a street I’ve never been on previously.

Nothing is natural. The signs don’t bode well.

Do I get off the street, or do I continue riding?

Do I go alone or bring others with me?

Who do I trust for the adventure?

I now comprehend why being a pioneer obliges separation.

I need to expel myself from those whose lives were influenced by my choices. Those I adore… and additionally those I despise.

It’s getting more hard to be a companion, when my choices are the ones a father need to make.

When you’re mature enough to comprehend this life, you’ll know everything about me, the things I’m glad for and the things I lament, and afterward you’ll be confronted with your choices. Also to the extent that I need to help you, let you know what to do, those decisions will be yours alone.

The main guidance I can provide for you, reader’s, is to inspect who you are as men.

Evaluate what’s essential to you. Know yourselves. Realize what’s in your heart. Don’t be affected by apprehension or history or the presumptions of pariahs.

Discover your truth.

It will lead you to the things you love.
