The first day returning to a windowless office after a week of vacation (in my case, sunny but chilly Venice) is never easy, but a spate of late-arrival Christmas cards and the rare early January party invite were a good antidote to the gloom. (I particularly am a fan of Nars’ matryoshka card featuring a galloon-festooned pug.) Friday night is the New Museum’s Next Generation Party which I loved last year. I’d like to find a dress that won’t look silly with tights since it’s been freezing cold — either of these two Prabal Gurung resort numbers would be perfect.
